Top 5 Travel Bucket List Destinations
Hey guys!! Welcome to my blog. Travelling
the world inside out has been my fantasy since I was in my early teens, and our
darling Bollywood (YJHD, ZNMD etc.) had a big hand in forging this one for me.
So when I thought of starting this blog, the first thing I wanted to share with
you all was the Top 5 from my First Travel Bucket-List, the one I made when I
was just 15. That list is still very close to my heart, and choosing 5 out of
those was a heart breaking decision. But now that the decision is made, I
cannot wait to share this with you all.
Sooo…Here we go!!
1. Santorini, Greece
Santorini is like a dream come true for all the hopeless romantics out there. This island is a head turner, a face recognizable to the world by this single picture.
With
its tranquil white buildings topped with blue domes, exhilarating romantic
sunsets and dazzling panoramic views, it is a destination that is definitely on
the top of every traveler's list. While the beauty of this city binds you
throughout the day, the vibrant nightlife will be a cherry on the top. Fira has
the finest bars and the craziest clubs that will make your trip absolutely
memorable!
2. Chicago, Illinois
Chicago, well known as the ‘Windy City’ is an architectural feat and has world class museums and endless entertainment for every explorer. The city is full of places to leave you amazed for a lifetime. The Willis Tower and the 360 Chicago are the ultimate destinations for every adrenaline junkie.
Chicago also never fails in
keeping the party going —it is the birthplace of house music and Chicago-style
jazz, after all. Explore the bars clubs and breweries and when you are all
done, don’t forget to take a long, peaceful River walk by the Lake Michigan.
3. New Orleans, Louisiana
The city of New Orleans is famous around the world for its
electrifying and lively street life, where every day is a party!And the good
news… the city has A lot more than Mardi Gras.
The French Quarters with its neon debauchery of
Bourbon Street is an elegant blend of jazz music and electrifying nightlife.
The Jackson Square is the one stop destination for all inspiration an artist
needs. New Orleans also has one of the most vibrant culinary traditions in the
world to offer. And how can one forget about the serene parks and ever
fascinating museums that portray the proud past of the state
4. Spain
Spain’s pleasant Mediterranean climate, its panoramic coastlines, photogenic landscapes, rich historical legacy, eclectic culture, culinary prowess and glitzy nightlife is a ‘must do’ for any travel enthusiast!
Visit the finest works of Antoni Gaudi to witness the
architectural splendor in the city of Barcelona. Seville it the best place to
savor the staple ‘Tapas’, which is otherwise found in every bar of every city
in Spain. Also indulge in squishy madness at The La Tomatina festival at Bunol
and the crazy party life of Ibiza. And how can the Bollywod craze allow us to
visit Spain and forget the ….Sky Diving!!!
5. San Francisco, California
And now we reach the last stop of our today’s expedition, a perfect blend of nature and human marvel, San Francisco. Set along the ocean, with the steep rolling hills, cool summers with a lingering thick fog and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, this city is a joy to behold.
The Golden Gate Bridge is the one the
most photographed sites in the world. The Cable Cars are the perfect way to
explore the beautiful city in a historical way. The city also has a handful of
museums, parks and monuments that are all not worth a miss at all. Also take a
day’s trip to go wine tasting to the absolutely scenic Napa Valley that you sure won’t
regret. And when you are done exploring, take a long walk along the beaches for
the perfectly soothing ending to the trip!
